08 Sep Golf Day – 20 September – Come support Velocity
Funraiser for Bloemfontein Disco Small Group to represent South Africa at the Disco World Championships
They are: Mikal Potgieter (age 14) from Sentraal High School, Vilandi Boshoff (age 13) from Sentraal High School, Gabrielle van den Heever (age 14) from Oranje Girls School, Logan Landman (12) from Grey College, Danielle Breytenbach (age 13) from Willem Postma School, Sarah-Ann Mckay (age 14) from Eunice Girls School en Allison Lombard (14) from Sentraal High School school.
Under the guidance of Marilize Griffiths from Dance Domination Bloemfontein the team, who competes under the name Velocity, has excelled throughout the season and was ranked no 1 for the 12-15 WTC Disco Small Groups in South Africa for 2015.
The Disco World Championships falls under the IDO (International Dance Organization) – a World Dance- and Dancesport Federation with a membership of over 90 nations, representing more than 250,000 dancers, from six continents. Due to the high costs to travel to Sweden and the Rand Dollar Exchange rates, the team has decided not to participate in the November World Championships but to rather try and qualify for the Disco World Championships in Czech Republic 2017.
Velocity is already busy with fundraisers for 2017. Come join us for a fun golf day, proudly sponsored by Wesgrow potatoes, to assist Velocity to raise enough funds for Czech Republic.
For more information or donations to the team, contact Marilize Griffiths on 082 375 0021 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
